Crocodile Rock
Ton : DEnglish
Couplet
I remember Gwhen rock was young,
Me and BmSusie had so much fun
Holding Chands and skimmin' stones
Had a Dold gold Chevy and a place of my own.
But the Gbiggest kick I ever got
Was doin' a Bmthing called the Crocodile Rock.
While the Cother kids were rockin' 'round the clock
We were Dhoppin' and boppin' to the Crocodile Rock, well.
Refrain
EmCrocodile Rockin' is something shockin',
When your A7feet just can't keep still
D7I never had me a better time and I Gguess I never will.
EOh, Lawdy mamma those Friday nights
When A7Susie wore her dresses tight and
D7The Crocodile Rockin' was out of Csight.

But the Gyears went by and rock just died,
Susie Bmwent and left me for some foreign guy,
CLong nights cryin' by the record machine
DDreamin' of my Chevy and my old blue jeans
But they'll Gnever kill the thrills we've got
Burnin' Bmup to the Crocodile Rock,
Learning Cfast till the weeks went past,
We really Dthought the Crocodile Rock would last, well
