And now when life begins to get the beAst of me

We buiElt a raft and traveled Aall around the world
ABnd stopped for candy at the Ecorner store.
YDmou let me fly your kite and theF#mn I dropped the string.
IG thought my life was over but Mama rescued me.
WEhen I was just a kid you taught my prAayers to me
Then yBou turned around and you told meE about those birds and bees.
But come what may you've been endeareAd to me

Time Eit moves so fast those Adays are over now.
WBe've all gone our separate wEays but still somehow
IDm often need to telephone and taF#mlk to you
TGo see if you remember things the way I do.
IEt won't be too much longer till we'llA be old and gray
And wiBnding up our travels here on lifEe's highway.
