What is your email used for?

Your email is NEVER shown on the site, and never shared with anyone. Only the moderation team can see it.

It is used only if a moderator has a question about your submission — for example to clarify a chord or a lyric before publishing it.

You can leave the field empty: your contribution is accepted just the same.

Quick help for completing the song

These three examples cover the essentials. The toolbar buttons can generate the syntax for you.

Position a chord

Put the chord in square brackets immediately before the syllable where it starts.

[C]Au clair de la [G]lune

Mark a chorus

Select the lines and choose the Chorus icon, or use this structure.

{start_of_chorus: Refrain}
[F]Chante avec [G]moi
{end_of_chorus}

Add strumming

Choose the Strumming icon to set the time signature, subdivisions and arrows in the builder.

{strum: 4/4 | D.DU.UDU}

Chords inside a tablature

Place [G], [D]… commands only on the first line after {sot}. They appear above the string but are not transposed.

{sot}
e----[G]--------[D]--|
B------0-1-0---------|
{eot}

Before submitting: check the preview on the right, title, artist, key and capo. For a correction, briefly describe your changes in the note to the moderator.
