Suggest a correction
A misplaced chord or a wrong lyric? Fix the song right in the editor; a moderator compares your version with the current one before publishing it.
Open the correction
Open the song page (the search at the top of the page finds it: “Title or artist…”, or ⌕ on a small screen). Scroll all the way down, below the stars and comments, and click “✏️ Suggest a correction”.

At the bottom of every song: rating, comment and correction. Continue with or without an account
Logged in, you go straight to the editor. Otherwise, two tabs are offered: “Continue without an account” (your name if you like, the anti-bot check, then “Validate and open the editor”) or “Continue with an account”, which brings you back here once you are logged in. No account yet? Under that same tab, “Create one” brings you back to your correction too: open the verification email’s link in the same browser within 48 hours.
Fix it in the editor
The editor opens on the published version, title and key included. Change only what is wrong — for example
[D]itsybecoming[G]itsy— and check the result in the preview.
Fix it in the editor, then explain your change to the moderator. Explain your correction
Below the editor, the “Comment for the moderator (optional)” field is for the moderator: say in one sentence what you changed and why, for example “The first chord is G, not D”. Your optional name is kept in the version history; your optional email is never shown.
Send it
Click “Send the correction for moderation”. The message “Thanks! Your correction is awaiting moderation.” confirms it was sent; the public song only changes once your correction is approved.
A problem you cannot fix? Duplicate, copyright, inappropriate content: use the “🚩 Report” link next to the correction button instead.
Remember: a new song, a correction, a strumming pattern and a comment all wait for a moderator’s approval. Only the star rating is saved right away.
