Rate and comment on a song
One click on a star rates a song; a comment lets you say more and appears after moderation.
Give a rating
At the bottom of the song page (find it with the search at the top of the page: “Title or artist…”, or ⌕ on a small screen), on the “Rate:” line, click 1 to 5 stars. That’s it: the rating is saved on the spot, with no account and no check, and “Thank you, your rating was saved.” appears. You can change it during the same visit; once you close the browser, or after a long break, it can no longer be changed.
At the bottom of every song: rating, comment and correction. Open the comment form
Just below, click “Leave a comment”: the form unfolds.
Write your comment
“Your name or nickname” and “Comment” are required. “Your email (optional)” is only for the moderator, should they have a question: it is never shown on the site. The ⓘ button next to the field explains it.
Send it
Click “Submit comment”. A “Spam protection” window opens: complete the anti-bot check, then click “Confirm and submit”.
Wait for moderation
The message “Thank you! Your comment is awaiting moderation.” confirms it was sent. Your comment will join the “Comments” list once a moderator approves it.
Remember: a new song, a correction, a strumming pattern and a comment all wait for a moderator’s approval. Only the star rating is saved right away.
